Marine Photo Charter

I'm in the planning stages of offering a limited number of on-the-water photo charters to give land locked photographers the opportunity to experience a view that you can only get by being out on a boat. I'm thinking of two different time slots, each about 3 hours long.

The first would be at sunrise where the "magic hour" on water is really a special time. Each day is different but regardless of weather, from clear skies to mist and fog, I have never failed to find some really great shots. My location offers marinas, islands, beaches, boats at anchor, and shore view vistas that should satisfy even the most discriminating photographer.

The second will concentrate on boats and racing and will take place in the early afternoon. I'll position ourselves around the race course to give the photographer the opportunity to get really classic racing shots similar to what you often see in boating magazines. We may also troll up a fish or two for the chance to get some really nice marine life photos.

I'll also work with photographers on the technical aspects of marine photography offering suggestions for lens, filters, camera settings and what to look for when on the water. I'm confident the photographer will have a really unique experience and come back with memory cards full of great photos.
