I always try to make a point to get out on the race course when the winds are out of the northwest. Winds from this direction usually means low humidity and nice clear air, perfect for photos. And that's just what we had yesterday. To top it off, we had nice big cumulas clouds that made for a real dramatic background. I spent more time on the water than I intended but you don't get these conditions very often and I stayed for hours.
